Focal length samples

People seem to be commonly aware that aperture is important in depth of field, but it gets over looked how important focal length is. Also compression is an odd concept, and this is a good way to see how the background appears closer and closer as the focal length gets longer, though Samantha is posing in the same place the whole time.

I have been wanting to shoot these for awhile, so I did some quick shots today at 14mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 135mm, and 200mm. All were done at ISO 200, f2.8, 1/2000 sec.
